FIELD: navigation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to navigation in ice conditions, in particular to submarines navigating in conditions of continuous ice cover. A device for destroying the ice cover by the resonance method is proposed, which consists of an underwater vessel, on the upper surface of which, in its bow, under the first cavity of the resonant flexural-gravity waves excited by the vessel, a Laval nozzle is installed.
EFFECT: increasing the ice-breaking capacity of the submarine.
