SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of information technologies, namely to means of processing multimedia content. A method for processing audio content contains stages, at which: the first location information indicating the first position or orientation of a user is received, using one or more processors, predicted location information is received, using one or more processors, based on the first location information and previous location information, audio content is prepared by means of rendering, and audio content prepared by means of rendering and predicted location information are transmitted, using one or more processors, to the first equipment for playback, while predicted location information and the second location information are used to update audio content prepared by means of rendering before updated audio content prepared by means of rendering is played back in the first equipment.
EFFECT: increase in the accuracy of processing and reduction in delay time.
