SUBSTANCE: aerosol generating article (100) comprises a retractable heat source (130). Aerosol-generating article has tubular housing (110) located at proximal end (102) of the aerosol-generating article. Combustible heat source is located at far end (104) of the aerosol-generating article. Aerosol generating substrate (120) is located downstream relative to combustible heat source. Combustible heat source is made with possibility of sliding movement from the extended position into the retracted position and has a shorter length than the product length.
EFFECT: combustible heat source is fully drawn into tubular body in retracted position.
