FIELD: agriculture and biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture and biotechnology and can be used in genetics and wheat breeding. An intragenic DNA marker has been proposed for the selection of wheat varieties with a high content of anthocyanins in the pericarp of the caryopsis, the synthesis of which is controlled by the Pp3 and Pp-1 genes. The DNA marker is an oligonucleotide primer having the nucleotide sequence SEQ ID NO 1: 5'-TAGTGCCGTCTAACTGGTGA-3' and SEQ ID NO 2: 5'-ACGACGCCTAAGGAAACAC-3'.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase the accuracy and speed of selection of wheat plants with a high content of anthocyanins in the pericarp of the caryopsis.
