SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology and may be applicable for the needs of agriculture and crop cultivation in diagnostics of the allelic state of the Vi4 gene controlling the anthocyanin pigmentation of caryopses in rye. Invention can also be used in the food industry in the analysis of plant-based raw materials.
EFFECT: possibility of significantly shortening the time of diagnosis down to one working day and conducting parallel analysis of hundreds of test samples by one researcher, with possibility of early diagnosis of the indicators of purple grain colour before the manifestation thereof at the phenotype level; the method is inexpensive, accurate, and environmentally sustainable.
