FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment and is intended to restrict the circulation of venous blood in human limbs during venipuncture. Venous tourniquet includes a tape passed through the body of a lock and equipped with a latch with a tip at one end and a lock tip at the other end, wherein the latch is configured to be secured in the body of the lock, forming a tape loop. The tips of the latch and lock have grooves for pulling in the tape, with a thickness of no more than one layer, and cavities for placing the ends of the tape. The end sections of the tape are bent, forming double-layer end thickenings, and placed in the cavities of the tips of the latch and lock with the end thickenings of the tape abutting against the wall of the groove of the corresponding tip.
EFFECT: use of the invention provides a structural simplification of retaining the ends of the tourniquet tape in the fastening elements, contributing to the reliability of use of the entire structure even with the elastic tape being strongly tensioned.
