FIELD: vehicle control technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of vehicle control technology. The vehicle motion control method comprises the step of obtaining vehicle motion parameters, information about the characteristics of an object in the front side area of the vehicle and relative information between the object and the vehicle, determining whether to generate a parameter correction command in accordance with the motion parameters, information about the characteristics of the object and relative information under various driving conditions. The parameter correction command comprises a distance correction command and/or a speed correction command, wherein the driving conditions comprise the first condition when there is no median between the vehicle and the adjacent lane, the second condition when an object in the adjacent lane enters the area directly in front of the vehicle, and/or a third condition where the vehicle needs to overtake an object in an adjacent lane. The method also comprises the step of correcting the relative lateral distance between the vehicle and the object according to the distance correction command and/or correcting the vehicle speed according to the speed correction command in response to generating the parameter correction command.
EFFECT: increase in safety is achieved.
