SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method and device for controlling movement of a vehicle with the help of driving. Method for controlling movement of a vehicle by driving, comprising a controller, which detects left and right boundaries of lane and which controls movement of carrier vehicle based on result of detection lane boundaries. Method comprises steps of distinguishing curve and direction of curve based on information on road geometry and result is detection of lane boundaries from inner side of bend to value for which change in lateral direction with approach to carrier vehicle is limited when moving along curve.
EFFECT: higher safety of vehicle driving is achieved.
