FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to the field of medicine, namely to a method for obtaining a (co)polymer of glycolide and/or lactide for the manufacture of absorbable surgical products by polymerization of glycolide and/or lactide in a monomer mass under the action of a tin (II) octanoate catalyst in an inert gas medium when heated first to a temperature of 80-90°C with exposure for 5 minutes, then to a temperature of 200-210°C until the end of the polymerization process, characterized in that the process is carried out in the presence of lauryl alcohol, copper and zinc sulfates in a total amount of 2 wt. % and 0.1-1 wt. % of silver nanoparticles.
EFFECT: present invention provides for the production of a (co)polymer of glycolide and/or lactide with the necessary molecular weight and increased thermal stability, having antibacterial properties.
