FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering, namely to a device with a solid-state nozzle for endothermal reactions with direct electrical heating; it can be used in cracking of oil fractions or hydrocarbon pyrolysis at a temperature between 500 and 1700°C. At least one vertically located pair of electrodes (4, 5) and all electrodes are installed in electroconductive solid-state nozzle (26), while upper and lower sections of the device have specific conductivity from 105 to 108 S/m, a middle section of the device is electrically isolated from the solid-state nozzle, an upper electrode is connected through the upper section of the device, and a lower electrode is connected through the lower section of the device, or each of electrodes is connected through one or several connecting elements (10, 16) electrically contacting with the specified sections, while the ratio of a cross-sectional area of upper and lower electrodes to a cross-sectional area of the corresponding conductive connecting element, or without the use of the connecting element, the ratio of the cross-sectional area of upper and lower electrodes to a cross-sectional area of the corresponding conductive section of the device is from 0.1 to 10.
EFFECT: increase in the efficiency of use of endothermal reaction heat in a heating zone of a reactor, which withstands a pressure drop of more than 0.5 bar.
