SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a thermochemical processing unit of carbon-containing raw materials containing a system for loading raw materials into a gas generator, a gas generator for obtaining generator gas, having a horizontal part along which the raw materials are moved by a screw conveyor into the gasification chamber of the gas generator. The hot gas outlet from the gasification chamber is carried out through the flue in the form of a circular slit, which is formed between the screw conveyor for feeding raw materials and the casing covering the screw conveyor. The gas generator has one gas outlet to the pyrolysis reactor and a second gas outlet to the gas purification and use systems, and also includes a pyrolysis reactor with a system for loading raw materials and unloading the formed pyrocarbon, and feeding it to the system for loading raw materials into the gas generator, and pyrolysis gas outlet into the gasification chamber, air supply to the gasification chamber is carried out by a blower through a distribution device located at the bottom of the gasification chamber. The gasification chamber of raw materials in the gas generator is connected with an electric melting furnace through a separation grate and the solid part of the material in the form of ash and underburning carbon from the gasification chamber of the gas generator through the separation grate is lowered into the electric melting furnace, where this material is melted. Molten mineral slag and liquid metal alloy are released from the melting bath furnace separately, each through its own channel, steam gases from the electric melting furnace through the separation grate enter the gasification chamber and are removed together with the generator gases of the gas generator, in the gas purification and use system, including a cyclone, then a scrubber and then a bag filter, the separated dust and sludge are deposited in the hopper and are fed into the gas generator loading system. The invention also concerns a variant of a thermochemical processing unit for carbon-containing raw materials.

EFFECT: complete processing of carbon-containing raw materials, with the production of combustible gas, heat, electricity and the production of mineral slag and metal-containing alloy melt from the ash part of the raw materials, as well as with the additional production of concentrates of rare metals and rare earth elements, precious and noble metals if they are present in the feedstock.
