BIO-GLUE BASED ON ACTIVE COMPONENTS OF FISH SKIN MUCUS VetGlu Russian patent published in 2022 - IPC A61P17/02 A61L24/10 A61K38/38 A61K38/39

Abstract RU 2779401 C2

FIELD: veterinary medicine; veterinary surgery.

SUBSTANCE: bio-glue based on an albumin solution and an aldehyde solution, as an active component, contains lyophilizate of fish skin mucus with specific weight of 0.19 g/cm3, dissolved in amount of 5% weight/volume in a 35% solution of bovine serum albumin and mixed with a 1.5% solution of glutaraldehyde in a ratio of protein solution/aldehyde solution from 50:1 to 25:1 by volume. Bio-glue based on the albumin solution and the aldehyde solution, as the active component, also contains lyophilizate of fish skin mucus with specific weight of 0.19 g/cm3, dissolved in amount of 5% weight/volume in a 25% solution of bovine serum albumin and mixed with a 3.0% solution of glutaraldehyde in a ratio of protein solution/aldehyde solution from 50:1 to 25:1 by volume. Bio-glue based on the albumin solution and the aldehyde solution, as the active component, also contains lyophilizate of fish skin mucus with specific weight of 0.19 g/cm3, dissolved in amount of 5% weight/volume in the 35% solution of bovine serum albumin and mixed with a 3.0% solution of glutaraldehyde in a ratio of protein solution/aldehyde solution from 50:1 to 25:1 by volume. Bio-glue based on the albumin solution and the aldehyde solution, as the active component, also contains lyophilizate of fish skin mucus with specific weight of 0.19 g/cm3, dissolved in amount of 5% weight/volume in the 25% solution of bovine serum albumin and mixed with a 1.5% solution of paraformaldehyde in a ratio of protein solution/aldehyde solution from 50:1 to 25:1 by volume. Bio-glue based on the albumin solution and the aldehyde solution, as the active component, also contains lyophilizate of fish skin mucus with specific weight of 0.19 g/cm3, dissolved in amount of 5% weight/volume in the 35% solution of bovine serum albumin and mixed with the 1.5% solution of paraformaldehyde in a ratio of protein solution/aldehyde solution from 50:1 to 25:1 by volume.

EFFECT: proposed bio-glue has high adhesive, fixing and hemostatic properties, which makes it suitable in veterinary surgery.
