FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment. The casting mold for creating a tissue-engineered vascular prosthesis includes a 3D-printed rod, two half-cylinders, two supports, four covers and four plugs that can be connected to obtain a casting mold and disassembled after the polymerization of the alginate hydrogel to extract the vascular prosthesis. The rod has a cylindrical shape and serves to create a vessel lumen. Each end of the rod is fixed on a corresponding stand in the frame-limiter for the rod. The semi-cylinders are connected to each other with the help of spikes and grooves into a single cylinder with the formation of a space outside the rod for pouring alginate hydrogel, sodium alginate and calcium chloride through the side holes and fixed in the supports in such a way that the mounting holes of the wide bases of the cylinder are above the grooves of the supports. The pedestals are covered with lids so that the cutouts of the lids are aligned with the side surfaces and wide bases of the cylinder. The side holes of the cylinder are closed with plugs, which are installed with the ability to open for pouring said solutions and close to restore the integrity of the side surface of the mold. The covers are made with the possibility of tight coupling between the half-cylinders and the stand.
EFFECT: ensuring multiple use for obtaining alginate vascular grafts.
