FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for introducing iron ore and coal into a blast furnace. The method includes pulverization of coal to produce pulverized coal, pulverization of iron ore to produce pulverized iron ore and the introduction of pulverized coal and pulverized iron ore through a tuyere. At the same time, iron ore is introduced, which has losses during calcination greater than or equal to 9 wt. %, and less than or equal to 12 wt. %. The consumption when introducing pulverized coal is set to be greater than or equal to 150 kg/t of cast iron, and the consumption when introducing pulverized iron ore is set to be greater than or equal to 2.5 kg/t of cast iron and less than or equal to 50 kg/t of cast iron. Iron ore and coal are pulverized together.
EFFECT: invention provides an improvement in gas permeability in the lower part of the furnace by introducing pulverized iron ore from the tuyere.
