FIELD: foundry.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to versions of the method of producing cast iron. Method comprises alternating layer-by-layer laying into blast furnace of first layer containing iron-ore material, and a second layer containing coke, loading coke into the central part of the blast furnace and reducing and melting the iron-ore material in the layered first layer, while blowing the auxiliary reducing agent into the blast furnace by hot blowing blown from the tuyere. At that, during layer-by-layer laying coke is loaded once or repeatedly during one charge for layer-by-layer laying of layered block composed by one of the first layer and one of the second layer. Ratio R of weight, tons/charge, coke accumulated in the central part, to weight, tons/charge, iron-ore material, loaded with one charge, is greater than or equal to a predetermined value α of 0.017.

EFFECT: preservation of gas permeability with reduction of amount of used coke.
