Method for treating episodic migraines includes determining the content of IgG4 antibodies specific to the food allergens of products included in the patient's diet in blood serum of the patient. If IgG 4 is 15 kU/l or less, then the product is allowed for daily consumption. If IgG4 is from 16 to 50 kU/l inclusive, then the product is allowed to be eaten 1–2 times a week. If IgG4 is from 51 to 150 kU/l inclusive, then the product is excluded from the diet for at least 2 months and then allowed to be eaten 1–2 times a week. If IgG 4 is more than 150 kU/l, then the product is completely excluded from the diet.
EFFECT: possibility of lowering the frequency of migraine-induced headaches by 95 to 100%, reducing the intensity thereof, lowering or completely excluding the intake of triptans and analgesics, lowering the frequency of inflammatory gastrointestinal and pancreatic diseases, and improving the function of the bile ducts.
