FIELD: imaging technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to photographic materials with luminescent visualization of a hidden image and can be used in the manufacture of optical media, artistic souvenirs and demonstration products, as well as in scientific research on the mechanisms of interaction of light and matter. The nonlinear photographic material consists of potassium chloride and an activating additive of thallium sulfate, the mass fraction of which is 2%. The nonlinear photographic material has a monocrystalline structure, an optical ceramic structure, or a fine-dispersed structure with nano-micrometer-sized particles. Under the influence of laser radiation, photoluminescence centers are formed in it: irradiated channels 2, emitting in the red region of the spectrum at room temperature, which expands the spectral range of the hidden image visualization. In the non-irradiated region 1, luminescence is not observed.
EFFECT: expansion of the range of solutions for nonlinear photographic materials.
