FEED PRODUCT FOR PETS Russian patent published in 2022 - IPC A23K10/00 A23K20/142 A23K20/158 A23K50/48

Abstract RU 2782546 C2

FIELD: foodstuffs.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for producing a wet feed product for pets and to a wet feed product for pets. Proposed is a method for producing a wet feed product for pets, containing pieces of a reconstituted animal material and gravy, wherein the method includes the stages of obtaining pieces of a reconstituted animal material and gravy, and the method additionally includes the stage of adding a protein additive to the gravy, resulting in the wet feed product for pets containing a fat component in an amount of 2.0 wt.% to 8.0 wt% and a protein component in an amount of 6.0 wt.% to 14.0 wt.% of the total weight of the wet feed product for pets; wherein the stage of adding a protein additive containing free amino acids to the gravy is executed by replacing part of the protein component in the existing formulation of a wet feed product for pets with a protein additive to produce a wet feed product for pets, wherein the ratio of the fat component and the protein component is from approximately 0.45:1.0 to approximately 1.0:1.0, and said protein component includes polypeptides and from 12 wt.% to 50 wt.% of free amino acids from the total weight of the protein component; and wherein the amount of free amino acids in the wet feed product for pets is at least 0.5 wt.% of the total weight of wet feed product for pets. Also proposed is a wet feed product for pets, containing pieces of a reconstituted animal material and gravy including a protein additive containing free amino acids, so that the wet feed product for pets contains a fat component in an amount of 2.0 wt.% to 8.0 wt.% of the total weight of wet feed product for pets and a protein component in an amount of 6.0 wt.% to 14.0 wt.% of the total weight of the wet feed product for pets, wherein said protein component contains polypeptides and free amino acids in an amount of 12 wt.% to 50 wt.% of the total weight of the protein component, wherein the ratio of the fat component and the protein component is in the range from approximately 0.45:1.0 to approximately 1.0:1.0, and the amount of free amino acids in the wet pet feed product for pets is at least 0.5 wt.% of the total weight of wet feed product for pets.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at increasing the taste appeal of the wet feed product for pets by adding free amino acids.
