FIELD: animal husbandry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of rabbit husbandry and veterinary and sanitary inspection and can be used for increasing the productivity and biological value of rabbit meat by changing the amino acid composition of meat, namely, increasing the content of essential amino acids. The method consists in introducing the "Abiopeptide" agent with feed at a dose of 1 ml/kg of live body weight from the age of 10 days every other day until the age of 60 days. At the age of 10 days, 20 days and 30 days, rabbits are injected with the "Hydropepton-plus" agent intramuscularly at a dose of 0.5 ml/kg of body weight.

EFFECT: invention provides an increase in the weight gain of rabbits, an increase in the content of the total amount of amino acids and the amount of essential amino acids in the meat thereof, characterising an increase in the biological value of meat.
