FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a composition for the production of polyurethane foam, its production method, as well as the use for the production of parts of interior decoration of vehicles. The specified composition contains: (a) polyfunctional isocyanate; (b) an isocyanate-active composition; and (c) a compound of the formula (I) or (II) , where R1 is a hydrogen atom, a hydroxyl or unsubstituted or substituted C1-C17-alkyl group, C2-C35-alkenyl group or an aryl group, R2 is an unsubstituted or substituted phenylene or naphthylene group, A is an ion with a positive charge. The compound (c) is present in the composition in amount from about 0.001 to about 2 wt.% per the total weight of the composition.
EFFECT: obtained composition can reduce aldehyde emission, especially acetaldehyde emission, in polyurethane foam, and it does not have a noticeable impact on mechanical properties of foam.
