SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, namely to anticorrosive biocompatible coatings for medical biodegradable implants made of magnesium alloys operated in a corrosive environment. A corrosion-resistant biocompatible titanium nitride coating with a thickness of 0.8-1.2 microns is produced by magnetron sputtering on a product made of a biodegradable magnesium-based alloy.

EFFECT: present invention improves the mechanical stability of the coating while the high corrosion resistance and biocompatibility is maintained.
