FIELD: oil industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the oil industry and is intended to identify a gas breakthrough in a turbine meter due to a sharp increase in the speed of the turbine blades. A method is claimed for improving the accuracy of liquid flow measurements, characterized in that the measurement of crude oil flow is carried out by a turbine flow meter, consisting of a primary flow converter, a guide vane, a turbine, and a secondary converter with an integrated computing unit. In this case, the flowmeter is installed on the outlet pipeline, which creates natural hydraulic resistance, which forms the nature of the normal frequency change in the presence of fluid flow. By means of the computing unit, a signal about the incorrectness of measurements during gas breakthroughs is recorded and transmitted to the upper level. In this case, signals identifying gas breakthrough and incorrect measurements are recorded with an abnormal sharp increase in the speed of the turbine blades. Wherein these signals are characterized by the output of the turbine speed value beyond 3δ - standard deviation, determined by the fluid flow rate trend for the previous period and/or the output of the turbine speed values beyond 25% relative to the trend of previous measurements within 1 second.
EFFECT: increasing the accuracy of liquid flow measurements by a turbine meter in the presence of free gas.
