SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine, in particular to pediatric otorhinolaryngology, allergology, and is intended for pediatricians, otorhinolaryngologists, allergists, family physicians for the early diagnosis of allergic rhinitis in children with difficulty in nasal breathing with hypertrophy of the pharyngeal tonsil on an outpatient basis. In children aged 2 to 7 years, subject to a history of acute respiratory diseases without an increase in body temperature for more than 8 episodes per year, sleep apnea, respiratory or food allergies first detected before 1 year, a complete blood count is performed. After that, the allergization index (AI) is calculated according to the formula. If the values of AI above 2.0 are diagnosed with allergic rhinitis and hypertrophy of the pharyngeal tonsil.
EFFECT: invention provides a simple, effective, cost-effective diagnosis of allergic rhinitis with hypertrophy of the pharyngeal tonsil in children with obstructed nasal breathing on an outpatient basis.
