FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biotechnology and medicine, namely, to dressing materials for treating purulent and infected wounds, trophic ulcers, for preventing suppuration of infected wounds, and constitutes a method for producing gel antibacterial wound dressings with bacteriocins. Method for producing gel antibacterial wound dressings with bacteriocins consists in producing gel wound dressings with bacteriocin-immobilised probiotic microorganisms, while additionally using an antiseptic – boric acid, and includes the stage of dispersing bacteriocins isolated from probiotic cultures of microorganisms in a mixture based on solutions of sodium alginate, xanthan, and chitosan, followed by shaping gel dressings from the mixture by casting, wherein all stages are implemented under aseptic conditions using sterile solutions, under certain conditions.

EFFECT: production of gel antibacterial wound dressings with bacteriocins, simplified and accelerated process of producing gel dressings from polysaccharides exhibiting antibacterial activity (chitosan), addition of bacteriocins from probiotic cultures thereto and additionally an antiseptic – boric acid.
