FIELD: veterinary medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to veterinary medicine and medicine and can be used to obtain gel spherical particles based on natural polysaccharides, in which probiotic cultures of microorganisms and Modifilan, which is a source of organic iodine and fucoidan, are immobilized. A method for producing gel spherical particles with immobilized probiotic microorganisms and additionally enriched with Modifilan includes dispersing 100 mg of a lyophilized mass of probiotic cultures of microorganisms in 10 ml of a mixture based on 2% solutions of alginate, xanthan and Modifilan in the ratio of alginate: xanthan: Modifilan 1:1:1 respectively, with a 2% solution of Modifilan pre-treated with ultrasound. Then the resulting mixture is extruded into a curing agent, which is a 20% solution of calcium chloride, at a temperature of 4°C and continuous stirring for 5 minutes. The resulting gel spherical particles are filtered off and transferred to saline. All steps are carried out under aseptic conditions using sterile solutions.

EFFECT: method provides simplification and acceleration of the process of obtaining encapsulated probiotic microorganisms, increase in their viability during passage through the gastrointestinal tract and additional enrichment with a source of organic iodine and fucoidan.
