SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, in particular to orthopedics. A method for correcting keeled chest deformity and spinal deformity with an orthosis, in which, according to the patient’s parameters, a chest plate, a back plate, a corrective plate are made individually in size and shape, the orthosis is assembled, the chest plate and the back plate are connected, lateral adjusting movable plates, with the possibility of changing the mutual position, two shoulder straps, a chest compression pad, a vertebral corrective plate with two frames are installed, a tightening tape equipped with a bandage is pulled into the frame, then the amount of compressive force sufficient to act on the deformed area of the chest is determined, the orthosis is mounted on the patient, the chest plate is placed on the chest, laying the compression pad on the area of the chest deformity, the back plate is placed on the back, the corrective plate is laid along the spine, the back and chest plates are connected in a closed loop, the shoulder straps are fastened, the tape with the bandage is pulled along the front wall of the abdomen, a loop is formed that encloses the body along the abdomen, the chest and back plates are brought together, compressing the protrusion of the chest deformity, a compressive force is applied in the area of the protrusion until the protrusion is eliminated and the thoracic kyphosis is eliminated, the tape is held in a taut position, periodically tightened, the tape is tightened daily until the curvature of the spine is eliminated. The orthosis is worn for a period of 8 to 12 months, then the compressive force is released and the orthosis is removed. A vertebral corrective plate is used, equal in length to the length of the spine from the upper part of the thoracic spine to the area located in the area from the L5 vertebra to the sacrum. The distal end of the vertebral corrective plate with a transverse support platform is placed in the area L5 - sacrum. The tape with the bandage is stretched, covering the body in the region of the 8th, 9th, 10th ribs of the chest. In the bandage pockets, metal plates are placed over the area of deformation of the costal arch, the tape is pulled together, acting on the costal arch and the lumbar spine, giving it a forced anatomically correct position, correcting kyphosis, lordosis of the lumbar spine.
EFFECT: invention provides simultaneous complex external non-invasive impact on the chest and spinal column along the thoracic and lumbar regions up to the region of the L5 vertebra and the sacrum, in order to correct chest deformities, kyphosis, lordosis of the lumbar spine, the state of the skeletal and neuromuscular systems in one treatment process.
