FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to experimental medicine and can be used to study the functional indicators of regional blood circulation. The cuff of a tail sphygmomanometer is applied to the proximal region of the tail of the experimental animal. An LDF sensor is set on the surface of the tail of the animal distally from the cuff location level. After the basic LDF is recorded, the cuff is inflated to a pressure of 200 to 220 mmHg and kept inflated for 3 minutes. After the cuff is deflated, the LDF is recorded for 6 more minutes. Thus, the indicators of the average perfusion value, the RMS deviation of the blood flow fluctuation amplitude, the variation coefficient of the blood flow, the maximum blood flow after removing the occlusion, and the time taken to reach the maximum blood flow are studied.

EFFECT: possibility of determining the functional indicators of the regional blood circulation of an experimental animal under conditions of preserved consciousness, absence of invasiveness, the maximum possible close contact with the examined layers, and painlessness for the animal due to the combination of techniques of the claimed invention.
