FIELD: composite materials.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the production of compositions based on organic high-molecular compounds, namely, to the production of composite films based on asphaltenes on substrate of polyethylene terephthalate; it can be used in the manufacture of electrochemical electrodes and non-metallic antennas. A method for the production of composite films based on asphaltenes is proposed, including mixing of dry carbon-containing powder with liquid under the action of ultrasound, application of the resulting solution by a drip method to a surface of polyethylene terephthalate substrate, air drying, laser treatment of the resulting coating, washing in a solvent, and subsequent drying in air at a room temperature until the solvent completely evaporates. According to the invention, asphaltene powder is used, which is dissolved in toluene with mixing until a concentration of 10-30 mg/ml is obtained, the resulting solution is applied to substrate in amount of at least 50 mcl per 1 cm2 of its surface and dried at a temperature of 50°C for 20 min, obtaining the first coating layer, on which the above-mentioned solution of asphaltenes in toluene is applied in amount of at least 50 mcl per 1 cm2 of a surface of the first layer, and dried at a temperature of 50°C for 20 min, obtaining two-layer coating, which is irradiated with a laser with a wavelength of 440 nm, with a laser spot size of 150×350 mcm, with pulse energy of at least 160 MJ, with a pulse frequency of 2.8 kHz, with pulse duration of 170 mcs for 4 mcs per a surface point, then washed in toluene and dried.

EFFECT: proposed method allows for obtainment of composite films based on asphaltenes – waste of the oil industry – on substrate of polyethylene terephthalate.
