FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to options of a catalytic composition for still residue cracking, to options of a method for the manufacture of a catalyst of still residue cracking, as well as to options of a method for cracking of hydrocarbon raw materials. One of options of a catalytic composition for still residue cracking contains: from about 30 to about 60 % by wt. of alumina; from more than 0 to about 10 % by wt. of an alloying additive; from about 2 to about 20 % by wt. of reactive silica; from about 3 to about 20 % by wt. of a component; from about 10 to about 50 % by wt. of kaolin. The alloying additive includes ytterbium, gadolinium, cerium, lanthanum, yttrium, barium, magnesium, or a mixture of any two or more of them, and it is measured in the form of oxide. The alloying additive is impregnated into alumina or is applied to alumina in the form of coating, or is deposited together with alumina. The component contains resoluble boehmite, colloidal silica, aluminum oxychloride, or a combination of any two or more of them.
EFFECT: development of a catalytic composition for still residue cracking with low selectivity by coke yield, easier in making.
