FIELD: microbiology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to microbiology, in particular to a strain of Thiopseudomonas alkaliphila, a rare and unique microorganism first isolated on the territory of the Russian Federation. The strain was deposited in the State Collection of Pathogenic Microorganisms and Cell Cultures (GKPM-Obolensk) under the registration number B-9992 and is intended to clarify the structure and function of this microorganism. The strain of Thiopseudomonas alkaliphila was isolated in 2019 from an agricultural enterprise specializing in cattle. The type of microorganism - Thiopseudomonas alkaliphila - gram-negative, short cells with rounded ends, arranged singly or in pairs in a smear, do not form spores, are stationary, aerobic. This strain is characterized by resistance to meropenem and fosfomycin and sensitive to ciprofloxacin, ceftazaidim/avibactam, gentamicin, tigecycline, ampicillin and tetracycline.
