SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to human anatomy. The atria are filled with a fluid, solidifiable mass. After its hardening, the heart is immersed in a 30% aqueous solution of isopropyl alcohol for 24-48 hours, washed in running water, and dried at room temperature for 1-2 hours. The epicardium and subepicardial tissue are removed from the outer surface of the atria with a scalpel and tweezers. The heart is placed for 24-48 hours in a 50% aqueous solution of isopropyl alcohol, washed in running water, dried at room temperature for 1-2 hours. Muscle layers and atrial myocardial bundles are dissected. Connective tissue from the spaces between the layers and myocardial bundles is removed with tweezers. The heart is placed for 24-48 hours in a 70% aqueous solution of isopropyl alcohol, washed in running water, dried in air until the water evaporates from the surface of the preparation.

EFFECT: method allows to obtain a highly informative anatomical preparation of the atrial myocardium, characterized by the presence and clear differentiation of muscle layers and bundles, which will allow obtaining reliable information about the relative position of these layers and bundles in the walls of the atria in a three-dimensional coordinate system.
