FIELD: medicine; normal human anatomy.
SUBSTANCE: after making a preparation of a normal heart with the left atrium in the diastole phase, the following are measured with calipers: the length of the heart — X1, the width of the heart — X2, measured directly below the coronary sulcus and parallel to it, the length of the left atrium —X3, the width of the left atrium —X4, the length the left ear of the heart —X5, the width of the left ear of the heart —X6 and the thickness of the left ear of the heart —X7. Then the index of the presence of a thinned area of the lower wall of the left atrium under the mouth of the left inferior pulmonary vein is calculated using the formula: I=1/(1+e-y), where I is the index of the presence of a thinned area of the lower wall of the left atrium under the mouth of the left inferior pulmonary vein of a normal adult heart; e is natural logarithm base 2.71; (-Y) is binary logistic regression equation, the power to which the base of the natural logarithm is raised: Y=4,78+0,029X1+0,16Х2-0,28Х3-0,12X4+0,5X5+0,19Х6-0,07Х7. When the value I≥ is 0.5 it is concluded that there is a thinned area of the lower wall of the left atrium under the mouth of the left inferior pulmonary vein on a preparation of a normal adult heart. An objective assessment is given of the presence of a thinned area of the lower wall of the left atrium under the mouth of the left inferior pulmonary vein on a preparation of a normal adult heart with completely intact walls of the left atrium.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to obtain an objective assessment of the presence of a thinned area of the lower wall of the left atrium under the mouth of the left inferior pulmonary vein in a normal adult heart while maintaining the integrity of the walls of the left atrium, which is in the diastole phase.
