SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for analytical measurement, in particular, to a mobile device and a set for analytical measurement. The method for analytical measurement includes provision of a mobile device with a camera and a test strip made with the possibility of a color-changing analytical reaction flowing on it, when applying a sample to a test field. The test field contains an indicator reagent for detection of analyte in the sample. The camera captures an image of part of the test strip, consisting of a set of pixels. An area of interest is defined on the image, which is correlated with a subset of pixels. Color distribution is assessed within the first subset of pixels, and emissions in the first subset of pixels are eliminated. A subarea of interest is defined within the area of interest, having a smaller area then the area of interest, and is correlated with a subarea of interest of the second subset of pixels. Then, an average value of color distribution of the first subset of pixels is compared with an average value of color distribution of the second subset of pixels with subsequent determination of image homogeneity.
