SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method of adjusting an apparatus for an analytical method for determining concentration of an analyte in a physiological fluid based on a colour formation reaction in a mobile device with an optical test strip for conducting analytical measurements. Adjustment method for setting up an analytical method for determining concentration of an analyte in a physiological fluid based on a colour formation reaction in an optical test strip, wherein the adjustment method includes: a) making a plurality of attempts to measure an analyte using a mobile device installed in a standard measurement mode, wherein each of the plurality of attempts to measure the analyte includes i) capturing, using the camera, one or more images of at least a portion of the optical test strip having a test field, before and/or after application of the sample; ii) checking, by a processor, the implementation of one or more measurement deviation criteria stored in the memory; wherein if one or more measurement deviation criteria are implemented, rejecting the measurement attempt by the processor and recording one or more deviation events in memory, analysing by the processor one or more detected deviation events when analysing the errors, and based on the error analysis result setting the installation by placing the device in a reduced measurement mode, in which one or more measurement deviation criteria are deactivated, and/or extended measurement mode, in which during the measurement attempt the user is provided with correcting feedback.

EFFECT: qualitatively or quantitatively determining one or more analytes in one or more physiological fluids, for example, for determining glucose in blood and/or interstitial fluid.
