SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the suitability assessment and calibration of a mobile device, as well as to the performance of an analytical measurement based on the reaction of colour formation in an optical test strip using a mobile device. The technical result is to increase the accuracy of measurements and increase reliability, while providing ease of use for the user. A method for evaluating the suitability of a mobile device for performing an analytical measurement based on a colour formation reaction includes evaluating the ability of the mobile device to have one or more appropriate mobile device settings controlled by user software running on the mobile device, the corresponding settings related to raw data processing steps images, must be performed by a mobile device, and the corresponding settings include at least one of: colour space conversion and tone mapping conversion.
EFFECT: increase in the accuracy of measurements and increase reliability, while providing ease of use for the user.
