FIELD: oil and fat industry.
SUBSTANCE: method of the production of refined vegetable oil with a reduced content of 3-monochloropropane-1,2-diol esters (3-MCPD), characterized by its including the following stages: a) treatment of deodorized vegetable oil with a base in a continuous tubular reactor at a temperature of 160 up to 220°C, b) bringing the base-treated oil into contact with an adsorbent and/or acid, wherein the base is selected from a carbonate, bicarbonate, hydroxide, alkoxide, carboxylate and mixtures of two or more of these, and the adsorbent is selected from a bleaching agent, activated carbon, zeolite, exchange resin, silica gel and/or two or more combinations thereof; the base is added in a concentration of 0.06 to 2.35 mmol/kg of oil. The use of a continuous tubular reactor for treating deodorized vegetable oil with a base selected from carbonate, bicarbonate, hydroxide, alkoxide, carboxylate and mixtures of two or more of these to reduce the content of 3-MCPD esters in the oil.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to obtain refined oils with low levels of 3-MCPD esters without modification of the triglyceride structure and/or without increasing the content of process contaminants.
