FIELD: electropolishing.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of electropolishing parts made of metals and alloys and can be used for surface treatment of turbomachine blades. The method includes immersing the blade in a working container with anion-exchange resin granules impregnated with electrolyte, processing the blade in two stages: first, a flow of granules is fed to the back and pressure side of the aerofoil and processed, and then the blade is rotated and/or oscillated around its longitudinal axis in the medium granules-anionites to obtain a given roughness on the entire surface of the blade aerofoil. The unit comprises sources of electrical power, mechanisms for moving parts, a control unit, a working container with anion-exchange granules and a product holder. The volume between two concentric shells with windows is used as a working container. The plant is equipped with a device for the circulation of granules-anion exchangers.

EFFECT: improving the quality and reliability of surface treatment of a metal part by increasing the uniformity of surface treatment and reducing the likelihood of defects.
