FIELD: electropolishing parts made of metals and alloys.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to treat the surfaces of turbomachine blades to improve their performance. The method includes fixing the part on the product holder, immersing the part in a working container with anion-exchange granules that provide ionic entrainment of metal from the surface of the part with the removal of microprotrusions when an electrical potential of the opposite sign is applied to the part and anion-exchange granules through an external electrode in contact with the anion-exchange granules. At the same time, the product holder is used, which is made with the possibility of moving the part along at least three coordinate axes, the part is moved simultaneously along three coordinate axes, providing uniform washing with granules-anion exchangers of the treated surface of the part. The installation contains power sources, a control unit, a working container with anion exchanger granules and an external electrode providing electrical contact with the said anion exchanger granules, and a product holder, which is configured to move the part along at least three coordinate axes when the installation shaft rotates, configured to change the angle of inclination relative to its neutral position.

EFFECT: improving the quality and reliability of surface treatment of a metal part by increasing the uniformity of surface treatment and reducing the likelihood of defects.
