FIELD: organic chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to organic chemistry, or rather to a method for producing new heterocyclic compounds of a number of 3,4-dihydroisoquinolines, which may be of interest as analogues of biologically active compounds or intermediates for their synthesis. The method involves the interaction of 3,4-dihydroisoquinoline with furans in the presence of an equimolar amount of ethyl chloroformate in a 1,2-dichloroethane medium at room temperature for 1 hour, proceeding according to the scheme
EFFECT: simple and effective method for obtaining derivatives of 1-(2-furyl)-3,4-dihydroisoquinolines using commercially available compounds that make it possible to vary the substituent in the furan ring.
