SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for the manufacture of a brush head node with bundles of bristles retained in an elastomeric matrix. Method (500) for the manufacture of brush head (10) includes following stages. Near end (23) of at least one bundle (21) of bristles is inserted (520) into hole (51) of at least one bundle holder (50). Heat-reflective device (200) having at least one heating element (105) and at least one heat-reflective surface (210) is actuated. At least one bundle holder with inserted at least one bundle of bristles is placed (530) in heat-reflective device (200) having at least one heating element (105) and at least one heat-reflective surface (210). Heat is directed from the specified at least one heating element to the specified at least one bundle holder with inserted at least one bundle of bristles for at least partial melting of the near end of at least one bundle of bristles to create a part of the head with near ends, and the melted part of the head with near ends is cooled (540).

EFFECT: more efficient and effective heating of ends of a bundle of bristles for achievement of more uniform melting and improvement of adhesion of bristles with each other, and, in some options of implementation, with retaining elements as well.
