FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: method for granulation of a liquid urea melt containing at least 96 wt.% of urea is proposed, in the implementation of which: the first additive is introduced, containing carboxymethylstarch, at least at one first stage of the granulation process, at least one second stage of the granulation process is performed after at least one first stage, wherein the first additive is not added at the specified at least one second stage of the granulation process. A granular urea product obtained by this method is also proposed, including granules consisting of urea for at least 96%, and having a layer containing carboxymethylstarch and a coating layer containing calciumlignosulfonate.
EFFECT: inventions allow for obtainment of a granular urea product with increased compressive strength and abrasion resistance of granules, as well as reduced tendency to balling and dust formation.
