SUBSTANCE: method comprises the sequential genome-specific and allele-specific PCR-reaction. Using the restriction nuclease TaqI the amplicon restriction is carried out, which is obtained by sequential PCR using direct SATF 5'-GCTCTTGTGGTGAGCACAGAGAACA-3' and reverse SATR 5'-TCTACGATCTCCAGGCTTGTCG-3' primers. DNA fragments of a certain size are obtained. And the homozygous state wild type gene FAE1.1 corresponds to 135 bps fragment, the homozygous mutant allele FAE1.1 corresponds to 113 bps fragment, and the heterozygote for the gene FAE1.1 corresponds to 135 and 113 bps fragments.

EFFECT: invention enables to carry out the gene-specific identifications of the said genes controlling the content of erucidic acid in rapeseed oil, at any stage of the plant development, and enables to eliminate the stage of a biochemical analysis of fatty acid composition of the oil.
