FIELD: fire protection.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to explosion protection and fire-fighting equipment, especially to the prevention and suppression of the explosion of dust, gas and dust-gas-air mixtures formed in the processing equipment of enterprises for the extraction, storage and processing of raw materials (coal, grain, etc.). A device for suppressing an explosion in dust, gas and dust-gas-air media is proposed, containing a housing (1) with a combustion chamber (2), an aerosol generating charge stick (3), an ignition system with a current-carrying unit (4), an output grid (5) and a nozzle block (6), a leading charge (7) with a highly developed combustion surface in the form of a set of thin-walled tubes or multi-channel slot monoblock of aerosol generating composition, placed between the end of the aerosol generating charge stick and the output grid, a sealing membrane (8) that collapses when charges ignite, and equipped with an output pipe (9), coated externally with fire-resistant organosilicon enamel and hermetically connected on one side with the nozzle block, and on the other side with a plate (10) intended for installing the device on a pipeline or container, also equipped with a flap (11) located in the outlet part of the pipe and a protective gasket made of insulating cardboard (12) located on the inside surface of the housing and the rear cover (13) tightly screwed into the housing and the electrical connector (14) tightly screwed to the housing cover through the gasket (15), and additionally equipped with a grid (16), located between the leading charge and the output grid through a gasket (17), and also equipped with a ring (18) installed between the sealing membrane and the combustion chamber, and the aerosol generating charge stick is covered with an armor coating on the side surface and one end and equipped with shock absorbers (19) on the armored end mounted to the back cover through a fluoroplastic gasket (20).
EFFECT: invention is aimed at increasing the efficiency of explosion suppression while increasing the safety of using an explosion suppression device and improving its general technical characteristics.
