SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biotechnology, in particular to a method for identification of a cell population suitable for transplantation to a subject who needs it, including determination of levels of expression of MARCKSL1 gene and a set of other genes in the cell population. A composition is also disclosed, containing the cell population identified by the above-mentioned method.
EFFECT: invention is effective for transplantation to a subject suffering from any of following conditions: bone fracture, bone damage, bone mass reduction, and bone tissue anomaly.
