SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a human cell composition and cryopreserved human cell compositions in vitro for use in treating diabetes. Said compositions contain endocrine cells or suspension aggregates containing endocrine cells obtained without using human embryos, in which at least 10 % or 50 % of cells are immature beta-cells expressing INS and NKX6.1. Also, the composition and the cryopreserved composition contain Y-27632 in an effective amount promoting the survival of said cells in said cell composition.
