SUBSTANCE: invention relates to non-ferrous metallurgy, in particular to methods for producing aluminum-based ligatures, and can be used for alloying and modifying aluminum-based alloys. The method for obtaining the aluminum-scandium-hafnium ligature includes the preparation of an aluminum melt, the introduction of alloying components, mixing of the melt and cooling, while binary alloys Al-Sc and Al-Hf are introduced into the melt as alloying components at the atomic ratio Hf: Sc 0.8-1.4, the resulting melt is heated to a temperature of 240-350°C above the liquidus temperature, kept for 20-30 minutes with stirring with a graphite rod and poured into a bronze mold with a cooling rate of 103-104 deg/s.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at obtaining a complex ligature, which, when alloying aluminum-based alloys, improves their strength and ductile properties.
