SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine. Orthopedic insert to compensate for the shortening of the lower limb, the length and width of which correspond to the length and width of the foot in the respective areas, and the height is determined by the shortening. On its lower surface, closed and rounded blind cuts of various diameters are made, not touching each other and with the edges of the insert.
EFFECT: invention provides a better recovery of the anatomical functions of the foot and the body as a whole when walking and moving due to the fact that the implementation of the proposed insert in accordance with the invention makes it possible, due to blind cuts, to stretch the material from the outside when the foot is bent during a step and at the same time allows you to maintain the density of the material and to avoid heat loss, and due to the additional implementation of through holes and recesses, additional flexibility arises by creating space for the surface to compress inward during the step, the voids allow to reduce the difference in weight between the soles on the long and short legs.
