FIELD: pharmaceutics.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to pharmaceutics, namely to aqueous compositions of MeCOSar-octreotate or its salt in a complex with copper ion, which can be used for radiation imaging, diagnostics of cancer, and treatment of cancer, as well as to a method for their production and a kit. The aqueous composition for radiation imaging for parenteral administration, containing MeCOSar-octreotate or its salt in a complex with Cu ion, additionally contains from 3 to 11% (vol./vol.) of ethanol, from 0.6 to 1.2% (wt./vol.) of sodium chloride, and from 0.1 to 0.55% (wt./vol.) of gentisic acid or its salt; at the same time, the composition has a pH value from 4 to 8 and contains acetate salt. An aqueous composition for diagnostics of cancer for parenteral administration is described. An aqueous composition for the treatment of cancer for parenteral administration is described. A method for the production of these aqueous compositions is described. A kit for the production of this aqueous composition is also described.
EFFECT: proposed group of inventions has higher stability and differs in reduced radiolysis.
