FIELD: clamping units and protection devices.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to clamping unit (20) comprising a clamp (14) with a clamping band (22) and a clamping device (24) for clamping the clamping band (22), and a thermal protection device (2) comprising a body (1) and at least one insulating layer (30), wherein the casing (1) has a wall (6) on axial end surfaces, which is divided into parts (8, 10) and extends radially inwards, where at least one insulating layer (30) is designed to be installed between the walls (6) of the casing (1). The clamp (14) is designed to encompass, at least in parts, the casing (1) and/or at least one insulating layer (30) of the thermal protection device (2), whereby the thermal protection device (2) is connected to the clamp (14) via a forced interlock, whereby the at least one part (10) of the casing (1) is designed to bend to form a forced interlocking connection with the clamp (14). At least one part of the enclosure wall is made longer than the other part of the wall, whereby the elongated part is made with the possibility of bending along a line to form a bendable retention tab. The invention also relates to a thermal protection device (2).
EFFECT: invention provides for simplifying the connection assembly.
