FIELD: tobacco industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an aerosol delivery device and an aerosol delivery system. The aerosol delivery device contains several electrical components including a controller containing a processor and a data carrier containing a set of machine-readable instructions; the specified several electrical components are located in direct proximity to an outer surface of the specified device; a heating node containing an insulating element, an induction coil, and a heating component for heating, but not burning, of aerosol forming material by means of electromagnetic induction; and a battery for supply of power to the specified electrical components and the heating node under control of the specified controller. In this case, during a heating session, energy consumption by the heating node is from 15 to 25 W, and energy consumption by the specified electrical components is less than 0.1 W, so that a temperature of the outer surface of the specified device remains lower than 48°C. An aerosol delivery system containing such a device is also described.
